Perkins Center for the Arts – Moorestown 395 Kings Highway, Moorestown, NJ, United StatesJoin us as we honor and celebrate the day ALL people living in the US, including formerly enslaved Black people, were granted freedom. As we come together as a community to commemorate emancipation, we also dream our future and work toward the progress we still need to make as a nation. On Saturday, June 18 Perkins joins with Moore Unity and Curate Noir, Inc. to present a special family day featuring inspirational music, African dance and drumming, food, educational presentations, and offerings from some of our favorite local Black-owned businesses!
