Perkins Center for the Art’s offerings include visual and performing arts studio classes, a conservatory of music program, a Summer Arts Camp, an ARTS (Arts Reaching the Students) in-school residency program and much more!

Perkins Center for the Arts is privileged to offer an incredible faculty of teaching artists who lead classes and workshops for all levels and interests from ages 3 – 103 at our locations in Collingswood and Moorestown! We offer a 10 week class semester in fall, winter and spring;  a 6 week semester every summer.

Youth Classes

Perkins Center encourages children and teens to explore the arts while allowing creativity and self-expression to flourish. We offer a wide variety of classes including art exploration, pottery, comic arts, and drama classes.

Adult Classes

By offering classes for artists at every stage, from the novice to the advanced, there is something for everyone at Perkins Center. Our professional teaching artists guide students in personal artistic growth throughout the different mediums offered including painting, drawing, pottery and more.

One-day and two-day workshops are offered throughout the year for adults and children to provide an opportunity to try something new or enhance your skills. Our annual Holiday Workshop Series celebrates the arts with family and friends through a series of affordable, seasonal-focused workshops.

Conservatory Program

Learning to sing or play a musical instrument can be a gratifying experience. Music lessons have been shown to enhance a student’s growth and learning process. Placing students and teachers together in a musically enriched environment is part of Perkins Center for the Arts’ mission in the arts.

Summer Arts Camp

The Summer Camp Program is a fun, nurturing environment for budding artists ages 5-11 while enhancing understanding and appreciation of the natural world that encircles them. Our full day program offers four varied, two-week sessions at our Moorestown location with flexible pick-up and drop-off times.

The brand new addition of Young Artists Inc(ubator) is an intensive for youth ages 12-14 who are seriously into multimedia collaboration and creation. This full day program is offered for two out of the standard four sessions with varied themes and may be repeated.

ARTS In-School Residencies

Perkins Center for the Arts has been committed to arts education throughout its history. The Center offers in-school arts programs for schools and training programs for teachers.
