PERKINS CENTER COVID-19 GUIDELINES FOR ONSITE MUSIC CONSERVATORY


Perkins Center Conservatory of Music offers a full program of instruction for students of all ages and levels of ability, ages 5 to adult. Conservatory faculty members are graduates of major music conservatories and universities. Many of our instructors have rigorous training in specialized musical fields and perform professionally. Students of the conservatory receive a musical education that builds creativity and confidence, traits that are essential for life-long learning and achievement. Students register for 30-minute, 45-minute or one-hour lessons. Ensemble instruction is also available.

Cost and Schedule

The Conservatory school year is arranged in four 10 week quarters from September through June. The summer session is flexible in duration. A student may enroll at any time during any given quarter. Tuition will be pro-rated, dependent upon the date lessons begin. Students will be billed individually according to teacher/student schedules. Payment for quarters and summer session is due in full by the first lesson of each quarter.

  • 1/2 hour – $30.00 for Members, $33.00 for Non-Members
  • 3/4 hour – $41.00 for Members, $44.00 for Non-Members
  • 1 hour – $52.00 for Members, $55.00 for Non-Members
  • 1 hour ensemble* – $32.00 for Members, $35.00 for Non-Members

*Ensemble instruction is arranged by teachers according to students’ skills.

1st Quarter

September 7th – November 13th, 2021

2nd Quarter*

November 15th – January 29th, 2022

*No Lessons – November 25th & 26th ; December 24th, 2021 through January 1st, 2022

3rd Quarter

January 31st – April 9th, 2022

4th Quarter*

April 11th – June 18th, 2022

*No Lessons – May 30th, 2022

Flexible Summer Session begins June 20, 2022

Scholarships

A limited number of Perkins Center for the Arts scholarships are available for art classes, conservatory of music, and camps based on financial need. To apply for a scholarship, please complete the application with the required documentation.
