Education

Perkins Center’s onsite educational programming includes Visual Arts & Movement Classes, Conservatory of Music, and Summer Arts Camp.

Perkins Center for the Arts is privileged to offer an incredible faculty of teaching artists who lead classes and workshops for all levels and interests from ages 3 – 103 at our locations in Collingswood and Moorestown! We offer a 10 week class semester in fall, winter, and spring;  a 6 week semester every summer.

Classes & Music Lessons

Perkins offers a diverse selection of classes, taught by a faculty of working artists, for adults and children of all ability levels. Programming in our Collingswood and Moorestown locations are offered to accommodate diverse interests and typically vary per session.

CAMP

For over 30 years, Perkins has been offering an eight-week summer arts camp packed with discovery, collaboration, and exploration. Each summer, campers ages 5-14 embark on an engaging, sensory adventure of visual and performing arts, STEAM learning, creative play, and artistic expression led by a faculty of working artists in both our Moorestown and Collingswood locations.

Perkins Summer Arts Camp is an inclusive, nurturing place for kids to truly celebrate their creative selves!

Perkins Center Programs are funded in part by a grant from the New Jersey State Council on the Arts/Department of State, a Partner Agency of the National Endowment of the Arts. Additional support provided by the Geraldine R. Dodge Foundation, Holman Automotive Group, Inc., PNC Arts Alive, Horizon Foundation for N.J, D’Olier Foundation, Township of Moorestown, Burrough of Collingswood, and individual Camp Hero donors.
