Summer Camp
Our Program & Philosophy
Enrolling your child in Perkins’ Summer Arts camp offers a unique and enriching experience that goes beyond traditional summer activities. Creative arts camps provide a nurturing environment where children can explore and develop their artistic talents in areas like visual art, music, dance, and drama. These camps are designed to foster creativity, self-expression, and confidence, allowing children to experiment with different forms of art while discovering their passions. The structured yet flexible program helps children enhance their problem-solving skills, improve their ability to communicate ideas, and build self-esteem as they learn to trust their creative instincts.
Moreover, Perkins Art Camp offers social benefits that contribute to a child’s overall development. By collaborating with peers on projects and performances, children learn the value of teamwork, empathy, and effective communication. They form lasting friendships through shared creative experiences and develop a sense of community with their peers. The supportive environment encourages children to take risks and challenge themselves artistically, helping them grow not only as individuals but also as part of a group. This combination of artistic exploration and social interaction makes summer creative arts camps an ideal setting for children to thrive emotionally, socially, and creatively.

Become an Art Camp Patron by giving a child from Burlington and Camden Counties the opportunity to attend camp this summer!
For over 30 years we have been able to offer a summer camp program that provides children, from the surrounding communities of Burlington and Camden counties, with an opportunity to be creative in a fun and engaging way.
A core element of the program throughout its history has been the camper scholarship program. One of the largest funding sources for the camp scholarship program has changed funding priorities and is no longer supporting the scholarship program. Perkins Center for the Arts is committed to continuing the scholarship program and has been seeking new funding opportunities, but we need support from the community in order to keep this important element of the camp experience. Donate Today!
The scholarship program is supported by the generosity of corporate donors and individuals from throughout our community. Every child should be given the opportunity to express themselves through all forms of art. Will you be a donor that provides an enriching and life-changing camp experience to a child this year?
$495 will provide one camper with a half scholarship to attend one Session (2-weeks) of Summer Arts Camp.
$990 will provide one camper with a scholarship to attend one Session (2-weeks) of Summer Arts Camp.
Your donation is greatly appreciated and is fully tax-deductible.
