Lunch & Learn : Roses from the Forest to the Garden

Join us for lunch on Valentine’s Day. Drew Lehrian is coming to talk with us about the roses in our gardens, and identify native roses that can be seen in South Jersey.

Drew Lehrian is the Head Gardener for the Barnes Foundation, overseeing the Arboretum Department. Drew has worked there since May of 2010 and is a graduate of The Ohio State University. He previously working as a Research Assistant at the Ornamental Plant Germplasm Center and interned at Longwood Gardens.

Perkins Center for the Arts’ Faculty and Friends House Band  Presents The History of Rock ‘n’ Roll – A Musical Evolution Join us on Evergreen Lawn as we celebrate the history of rock ‘n’ roll music.  This concert will feature the sounds of rock music’s evolution from the earliest Blues-driven tunes of the mid 1950’s to the Grunge era of the early 1990’s.  Also highlighting songs that characterize the British Invasion, Psychedelic, 70’s Arena, Punk and New Wave periods.
