Community members are welcome to bring in family heirlooms that relate to foodways and cultural food traditions such as, aged photographs, negatives, heirloom cooking instruments, handwritten recipes, handcrafted pottery, back-dated news articles, traditional herbal remedies, heritage farming and gardening tools, passed-down cook books, ancestral holiday linens and artwork.

Space Lines Exhibition

Perkins Center for the Arts, Collingswood presents Space Lines an exhibition  with a unique perspective through drawing,  mixed media, construction and 3 dimensional  sculpture. Bobbie Adams, “ I am most interested in examining, pondering, and portraying aspects of the physical world. October 16 – November 27, 2016 Opening Reception: Sunday, October 16, 2016 1:00 – 4:00pm Awards Ceremony at 2:00pm Juror:  Amie Potsic Executive Director of Main Line Art Center in Haverford, PA and Chair of the Art In City Hall Artistic Advisory Board to the Office of Arts and Culture of the City of Philadelphia. Awards totaling $ 1100 1st Place $ 250 2nd Place $ 150 3rd Place $ 100 Museum Purchase Award The Delaware Art Museum will be the recipient of our purchase award. The maximum payment to the artist for the Purchase Award (funded by Perkins Center) is $600. Requirements Artists are invited to submit a maximum of three works that have been created within the past three years. The exhibition is open to all mediums except photography and sculpture.
