Thank you to the many students, teachers, donors and participants who support Perkins Center for the Arts. We thank you again for your patience and flexibility as we work through this ever-changing situation. Perkins Center for the Arts has cancelled all onsite classes, lessons and programming through April 18. This decision was not made lightly. Perkins is choosing to put the health and safety of our community at the forefront and follow the advice of local, regional, state and federal health officials.
At this time, Perkins Spring 2020 Session will begin the week of April 20. We recognize and acknowledge the inconvenience these changes may cause, however, we are confident that by following recommendations that we will all experience better results. As we reach additional decisions about future events we will communicate them directly and often.
Many thanks to you, our Perkins family, for being committed partners as we all work through these uncertain times. Join Perkins’ #KeepingArtsAlive campaign over the coming weeks. At this very moment Perkins is working on special content to share with you to keep our community connected!
As Perkins shares stories of creativity and resilience, we hope you will share yours as well. Share your music, dance, painting, drawing, throwing, flameworking, embroidery, poetry or song and tag @perkinscenter and use the hashtag #KeepingArtsAlive.
