Join us as we honor and celebrate the day ALL people living in the US, including formerly enslaved Black people, were granted freedom. As we come together as a community to commemorate emancipation, we also dream our future and work toward the progress we still need to make as a nation. On Saturday, June 18 Perkins joins with Moore Unity and Curate Noir, Inc. to present a special family day featuring inspirational music, African dance and drumming, food, educational presentations, and offerings from some of our favorite local Black-owned businesses!
