Learning to sing or play a musical instrument can be a life-changing experience. Music lessons have been shown to enhance a student’s growth and learning process. Placing students and teachers together in a musically enriched environment is part of Perkins Center for the Arts’ mission in the arts.
Perkins Center Conservatory of Music offers a full program of instruction for students of all ages and levels of ability, ages 5 to adult. Conservatory faculty members are graduates of major music conservatories and universities. Many of our instructors have rigorous training in specialized musical fields and perform professionally. Students of the conservatory receive a musical education that builds creativity and confidence, traits that are essential for life-long learning and achievement. Students register for 30-minute, 45-minute or one-hour lessons. Ensemble instruction is also available.
