ARTS Education Program Manager
Perkins Center for the Arts, a multi-disciplinary regional community arts center with facilities in Moorestown and Collingswood NJ, is seeking a full-time ARTS Education Program Manager. The ARTS Education Program Manager works with regional public, independent, religious and special needs school administrators, teachers and teaching artists to design and implement artist led arts residencies in the schools. Responsibilities include: design and implementation of standards based arts residencies including planning and scheduling, observation, documentation and promotion of the residency; understanding of current research, frameworks and policies in arts education; proposal writing; preparation of related narratives and final reports for foundations and corporations; facilitate the education elements of the summer arts and eco camp; and participation in state level arts education committees and organizations. An ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience and a degree in arts education with a deep understanding of current education standards and best practices, ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, committed to working in a collaborative environment and have an interest in working with diverse communities. Perkins Center for the Arts is accepting proposals from qualified teaching artists for its Adult Watercolor, Drawing and Painting classes in Moorestown, NJ. These independent contractor instructors must be available to teach weekly classes at the Center. The art classes are for adults and range from 2-3 hours. Dance Instructor (independent contractor)
Perkins Center for the Arts is now accepting teaching proposals from qualified teaching dance artists for its Dance Program in Moorestown, NJ. These independent contractor instructors must be available to teach weekly classes on Monday, Wednesday or Friday at the Center. Classes are for 3-10 year olds and are an hour in length.
